November 13, 2023 – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has urged his fans not to burst crackers inside cinema halls, citing safety concerns.
The actor’s request comes after several videos of fans bursting crackers during the screening of his latest film, Tiger 3, went viral on social media. In one of the videos, a fan can be seen lighting a rocket inside the hall, which sends sparks flying everywhere.
“Please avoid this,” Khan wrote in a social media post. “It is a huge fire hazard and could endanger your lives and the lives of others. Enjoy the film by all means, but please do not burst crackers inside the cinema hall.”
“We will be conducting security checks at the entry point of all our cinemas,” said a spokesperson for a major multiplex chain. “We will also be posting security guards inside the halls to keep an eye on the situation.”
Cinema hall owners have also promised to take steps to prevent fans from bringing crackers inside their premises.
